Communications Role
Do you care about fairness and want to make a difference in your community? Join us as a Communications Volunteer at Citizens Advice Oxford. Together, we can help everyone, no matter who they are or what problems they have. This is a great opportunity to gain real experience in communications, fundraising, and event planning, all while supporting a good cause.
About Us
At Citizens Advice Oxford, we provide free and private advice to anyone who needs help. We also work on important issues that affect people’s lives. We believe in treating everyone fairly and stand against discrimination. Citizens Advice Oxford has an important place in our community, helping people solve their problems and find a path to a better future.
As a Communications Volunteer, you’ll play a key role in making our charity more visible to clients and partners. You’ll use social media and write press releases to help spread the word and create fundraising opportunities. Your strong speaking and writing skills will be important for sharing information with our followers, connecting with possible donors, and creating convincing messages. Your attention to detail, computer skills, and ability to work on your own will help make our campaigns and events successful.
You will report to Office Manager (Social Media) and Chief Officer (Fundraising).
